Maung Doe Cherry Land (Burmese song) |
Summary of the songThis is my rendition of one of the most popular Burmese classic songs. It was composed by the contemporary songwriter, Ah Lin Gar Kyaw Zwar Shwe Pyi Aye, and sung by a renowned movie star Win Oo.
I guess that this song was not written for ballroom performances because there was no ballroom dancing in Burma. But when I first heard this song, I thought it was a great music for that kind of dancing.
I remixed the song with some nice ballroom dancing by Mirko Gozzoli & Alessia Betti. I don't know anything about that dancing..I just had to spend quite a lot of time looking for a great clips on YT, and then editing the video so that the dance moves matched with the music beats.

This song was originally sung by L Lun Wah , and he's
one of my favorite singers. I think he's a medical doctor
in Burma. I love singing this song ... I love the lyrics and
the melody of the song!! :)
